What is the Canton Fair?
The Canton Fair is one of the world's largest international trade exhibitions, held in Guangzhou, China. It connects buyers with manufacturers and suppliers across a wide range of industries.
Do I need business experience to join?
No. Our trips are designed for aspiring entrepreneurs, established business owners, and professionals interested in exploring international sourcing and trade opportunities.
Is international airfare included?
International airfare is arranged separately. You may book your own flights or request assistance with flight options and coordination. Confirm your flight arrangements with GTT before making travel purchases.
Do I need a visa to travel to China?
Visa requirements depend on your passport, nationality, purpose of travel, and current Chinese entry policies. GTT can provide general guidance on the process, but visa decisions are made by Chinese authorities.
What accommodations are provided?
Our itineraries are designed around comfortable, conveniently located hotels. Specific properties and room arrangements will be provided with your selected package.
Can I attend more than one Canton Fair phase?
Yes. You can select a single phase, two consecutive phases, or the complete three-phase Canton Fair experience, depending on your business interests and available travel time.
Will we visit factories and meet suppliers?
Factory visits and supplier meetings are planned as part of selected itineraries. Specific visits depend on manufacturer availability, scheduling, and the interests of the delegation.
Is the Trade & Sourcing Academy included?
Yes. Participating travelers receive four focused, 90-minute workshops delivered in person in China. Topics include international trade, supplier verification, Alibaba sourcing, and shipping and customs.
Do I have to purchase products at the fair?
No. Many participants attend to research products, compare suppliers, collect quotations, and build relationships. Purchases are entirely optional and made independently by each participant.
Are meals and transportation included?
Scheduled ground transportation and selected group meals may be included, depending on your itinerary. Your package details will identify exactly which services are covered and which expenses are your responsibility.
